Dec. 21, 2025
In this Dec 21 Sunday service message, we go back to Isaiah, the “beginning of the beginning” to remember that Christmas didn’t start with cute traditions, but with God’s promise in the middle of crisis. Through Isaiah 7, 9, and 11, we see Emmanuel revealed as God with us, the Light that breaks through darkness, and the promised King whose authority can’t be reduced to a manger scene.
This sermon challenges us to reject the cultural version of Christmas and return to the truth: Christmas is not about decoration without devotion, it’s about deliverance, transformation, and Jesus making life new. If you’re facing uncertainty, fear, or darkness, this word reminds you: the promise still stands, and the Light has come. Scriptures featured: Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:2, 6–7; Isaiah 11:1–5; Isaiah 8:22; Matthew 4:15–16; John 3:19; John 1:9; Ephesians 2:1–3; 2 Corinthians 4:6.
